There is no better example of this than this blog; it is made with Hugo, an open source (Free) service for making static web pages, that is, pages that do not have logic like payments and things of that style.

Why did I decide to do it in Hugo if I could do it on my own? After all, I am a programmer. The answer is because it allows me to do it and launch it quickly now that I am motivated. This page took me about 2 hours to make, whereas if I started programming it, it would take me months to finish something that I don’t know yet if it has a future.

How did I learn this? A couple of years ago I started a mobile app venture, just “to make it better”, I started doing things that I didn’t need at that moment; they weren’t even mandatory to have but “they would make the app more secure”. In the end, it took me months to add just that part, the project didn’t take off, and I could have found out about it much earlier and continued with what follows.

Learning: When creating something, check the options you have at hand that allow you to start now, TODAY that you are motivated. It may be that those tools are not the best or they may be, if they are not you can always look for the right ones over time, but regardless of that, they will allow you to have results much sooner.
